Original collagraph print. I only have this one left, which comes with a mount but no frame, as well as one framed in a simple oak frame, in a separate listing. The rest of the edition is sold.

It measures 27.5 x 27.5 cms square with the mount.

Printed with Akua intaglio inks on BFK Rives printmaking paper.

This is no. 5 of an edition of 12 collagraph prints. It is numbered, signed, and titled in pencil in the traditional manner underneath the print.

This is the first collagraph I ever made, and is one of only 2 prints left in the edition. The plate (which is the surface that is inked up to make the print) is made from cutting into mountboard, taking parts away, and adding other surfaces and found objects. The print is inked up, with excess ink wiped away until the desired effect is achieved, and then put through an etching press onto previously dampened paper. Each time I make a new print, the plate can be inked up completely different, and in this edition I also added a little watercolour once dry.
