An original drypoint print made using Akua Intaglio inks on Zerkall printmaking paper.
Small edition of only 8.

Paper size is 27 x 21 cms.
Numbered, titled, and signed in pencil underneath each print.

Drypoint prints are made by etching into a metal, or in my case, plastic sheet (called the printing plate) with a sharp tool or etching needle. The plate is inked up and wiped off separately for each new print, and the incised lines hold the ink, which is transferred onto the paper by the weight of the rollers in an etching press. Due to this, each print is slightly different from the next, making each one unique.

This listing is for the print only, unframed and unmounted.

Your print will be sent flat in a cardboard envelope with glassine paper or in a cellophane sleeve and sent tracked and signed for delivery.
