Description

Original UNFRAMED monotype print made by transferíng a pastel drawing I made to a Gelli plate ( a gelatin-based printing plate that allows prints to be made without using a printing press), layering over a layer of acrylic paint and pulling a print of the image. The resulting print is always a bit of a surprise and a one-off image, hence called a monoprint.

This is the third of three prints transferring the same drawing before no more of the pastel would transfer. This one has been embellished with collage from handprinted and natural fibre papers and hand stitch.

It has been printed on Japanese Hosho printmaking paper

Measures 28 x 37.5 cms

Signed on the front, and signed and dated on the reverse.

The print will be placed in a cellophane sleeve packaged between cardboard and sent in a cardboard envelope.

Tracked and signed delivery, including compensation cover in the unlikely event of loss/damage.
